2023 Honda HR-V

The new second-generation 2023 Honda HR-V was introduced last year and is now available with a long list of improved features that enhance comfort, versatility, efficiency, and connectivity. The new HR-V has a lot to offer and here we take a look at some of its most impressive new features.

The 2023 Honda HR-V comes with a long list of standard features including a 7-inch colour touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto which can be upgraded to a high-definition 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There's also a standard digital instrument cluster as well as a new fully independent rear suspension for enhanced comfort. Standard Honda Sensing active safety technologies have been upgraded to feature new Traffic Jam assist and Traffic Sign Recognition features. Moreover, the HR-V includes added protection inside with standard knee and rear passenger side impact airbags. 2023 Honda HR-V AWD models feature an improved all-wheel drive system that delivers even better control on the most difficult roads.

The 2023 HR-V gets a larger 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that now produces 158 hp and 138 pound-feet of torque, an increase of 17 hp and 11 pound-feet of torque compared to the previous HR-V. The new HR-V also gets a Hill Descent Controls system which allows drivers to set a speed of between 3 and 20 km/h when going on difficult terrain so that they can focus on braking and steering while the vehicle maintains a set speed.

Versatility has always been at the heart of what makes the HR-V stand out, and the new-generation is no different. With nearly 700 L of cargo space behind the rear seats and the Honda Magic Seat system, the HR-V remains one of the most practical small sport utility vehicles you can buy in its segment.
